Affiliate Compliance Checklist for iGaming Campaigns

Compliance should be part of campaign setup, not a final check after traffic starts. Clear approvals, accurate messaging and documented traffic practices protect the affiliate, the advertiser and the audience while making performance easier to evaluate.

1. Confirm Traffic Rules

Verify which traffic sources, placements, devices and GEOs are accepted for the offer. Check whether brand bidding, incent traffic, email, push or social promotion requires additional approval. When a rule is unclear, ask the affiliate manager before launch.

2. Use Accurate Claims and Creatives

Promote only the terms, bonuses and benefits that have been approved. Avoid misleading urgency, guaranteed-outcome language or creative that hides important conditions. Keep a record of the version used for each campaign and market.

3. Protect Tracking and User Data

Use approved tracking links and do not alter parameters in ways that could break attribution. Collect only the data you genuinely need, handle it securely and follow applicable consent and privacy requirements for the audience you target.

4. Document Changes and Monitor Quality

Record campaign approvals, traffic sources, creative versions and major optimization changes. Monitor rejected conversions, unusual traffic patterns and advertiser feedback. Pause activity when something looks inconsistent and investigate before sending more volume.

Requirements vary by advertiser, offer and jurisdiction, so this checklist is a starting point rather than legal advice. Afflex partners should follow the specific campaign terms and ask their affiliate manager for clarification whenever needed.
